» clemence poesy ||   Fleur was my favourite character from the moment she appeared in the books. Something about her - her charm, her background, the fact that she was so wonderfully foreign - i sort of became weirdly infatuated by her. She was beautiful, yes, but she was brave. She was courageous. And, if things had of been farer in the Triwizard Tournament, I think she would have had a real chance at winning. The way the Weasleys judged her was quite wrong - as she did in the Triwizard Tournament, she proved them all wrong. Rather than being the beautiful girl they saw her for, she had a deeper, intelligent side and proved very loyal to Bill in the book after his werewolf attack. The scene in the book where Fleur and Mrs Weasley become friends in the book is one of my favourites. When she decided to marry Bill - i was so very, very happy. Their wedding was perfect. I wanted to live by the sea with them in Shell Cottage. I thought that would be the perfect life. After all this you see, i was a bit disappointed with Fleur’s role in the movies. The whole part for her was mainly in the fourth movie. You saw none of Bill and Fleur. If you hadn’t of read the books, you wouldn’t have even known they knew each other. That being said, I loved Clemence in the role of Fleur. She was, in my mind, fantastic. She wasn’t at all how I imagined her - she was prettier. She played Fleur very well - perfecting the small things like her way of walking or talking for example. After Harry Potter ended, I started watching Gossip Girl. I was watching the season 4 episode, “A Touch of Eva” - and then I realised - it was Clemence! I loved Eva’s character, and this character reminded me a lot of Fleur. The way Blair judged her so harshly. The way she proved her wrong. My name is Eva so I absolutely adored her character, and shipped her with like, everyone. I loved seeing her in a bigger and different role. “Eva’s strong. She can handle Blair.” ~ Chuck Bass Overall, I am extremely jealous of her hair, acting skills, the fact that she was in HARRY POTTER and got to kiss Rupert and Dan on the cheek; (although; it couldn’t have been that fantastic because they had just gotten out of the freezing water and they were going through the awful haircut stage), and being able to speak both English and French. Also, her fashion style is amazing.
